Savage Lrp 6.5 Creed Loads

Just bought one myself, going to use hornady factory match 140's and see if they perform like others have said. If they are gtg, I will use the load data on the box and go from there

I started with 41.0 grains of H4350 behind 139 gr. Scenars then settled on 41.6 gr. after running an OCW test. Pretty close to the charge Hornady uses in their 140 gr. Amax factory load. This load shoots well with 140 gr. VLD's as well in both of my 6.5 CM's

It did not like the factory 140 amax.I loaded up some 140 amax in different powder charges and will give them a try.
