Savage mags.

First post on here-
Bought a new Savage fcp-sr that uses a 10 round mag. My question is will a savage 4 round mag work in the gun.

if it came with the 10, then its not the one that uses the 4 and no the 4 will not fit. but you can get 5 rounders. the savage proprietary mags in the factory DBM arent the same as they use in the new DBM system

The new Savage DBM system fits AICS style mags.

Look up a 5 round AICS mag.
