Savage Model 10 Make-Over

Finally shot the barrel of out the Model 10 Last year. So, I decide to rebarrel it and
change up calibers from 308 to 243. Got a Shilen 26" 1:8 twist for it.
Decided I was going to paint and change the total apperace from the old black
to something a little different.
So, I decided to Multicam dip the stock as I already had a MK 4 Leupold that was dipped.

Well the pictures below are how it turned out, hope is shoots as well as it looks.

As for who dipped it, Jim @ South Mountain Aqua Graphics did it. I had it back in less than a week, and
he even shot me a photo via text message after he had dipped it. Great guy to deal with.

Still a virgin! Making test loads today for a range trip this weekend (weather permitting).

RL-22 with 105gr amax's and 105 gr Nosler Custom Comp's.

I just did the same thing. Replaced my .308 barrel with a Criterion 1-8 twist .243 barrel. Haven't shot it much, but I can already tell its going to be a lot of fun to start shooting steel with it.
