I have a Savage Model 6 "gill gun" as an old project I am revisiting. The biggest issue that I cant seem to get over is the it jams very frequently, which requires disassembly and finger-fucking to resolve the issue. It seems as though there is something dimensionally wrong in there that is sensitive to cartridge OAL. Anyone have experience with this rifle?
