Today I ordered the parts for my new build. A CBI stainless match grade 1-8 twist with 11 degree crown, accurizied replacement bolthead, recoil buffer and tools needed for my future .260 Rem. My problem thus far is bottom metal. I am switching my Savage 12 BVSS in .223 to .260 Rem and my rifle is staggered feed and the existing blind mag is too short for this round. What are my options? It looks like it may be awhile before I upgrade the stock, so for now I would like to use the existing stock with a usable mag and not have to use a single shot follower. In the near future I would like to go with a DBM when I change stocks. All help is appreciated.
