Savage stock

Looking to get a new stock for a savage 10 that’s lighter and better than the lame choate stock that I have now. Needs to be able to use magazines. Not sure what’s out there anymore HELP

Depends on how much you want to spend. Whatever is available for 700 is available for Savages for the most part. I have brand new HS precision takeoff from a LRP 12 that's available for sale. Its def nicer than choate but not sure if it's lighter. Pm if you are interested.

While you can certainly get a stock lighter than the Choate, I don't think you will get one "better" that is of similar design. I say that as I own several and a Manners T4A. Chassis style is a different story, tried it but not for me.

Look at the MPA BA lite chassis if you want to go light. Also uses aics mags.
