My 13 year old son and I shot .223 and .22 today. He shot .223 at 330 and .22 at 100. I did both thought I would try the .22 at 330Y.
My son called out the splash's for me on the spotting scope so I could get the .22 on target. I started at 90" of drop and was way too low and right. Ended up 14 mils roughly. I was trying bad to get it in the red. Last shot literally (had one round left) was the lower one about 1" from the bullseye. That's a 12" target.
I'm still excited I got 4-5 shots on a 12" target at 300Y with a .22. I've shot higher power rifles as this distance but never .22.
*Note, I mislabled the target and that's not CCI Green Tag. We shot that at 100. For 330 I used CCI Stinger.
