Savage ultralite 6.5cm proof barrel

Using the hornady o.a.l. Gauge with hornady 140 eldm bullet
After 7 attempts I get an average of 2.019 off the ogive !With the bullet c.o.a.l. 2.618? Does this barrel have a short throat?

Is your barrel clean? Otherwise, yeah, that would be really short

I have a savage 110 tactical in 6.5 creedmoor, with the 140 eld it has a coal of 2.830, which i think is short. If yours is 2.6 you can not even chamber 140 match factory ammo, they are 2.800.
