Redfield® Releases Limited Edition USMC M40 Riflescope

BEAVERTON, Ore. - Redfield® is offering a limited run of 1,000 U.S. Marine Corps M40 edition riflescopes through SWFA Outdoors. These OD green, 3-9x40mm riflescopes feature a Mil Dot reticle, a tactile post on the power selector, and have an appearance that is more authentic to the original USMC M40 riflescopes used in the Vietnam War.

Built in Oregon, these M40 riflescopes feature a multi-coated illuminator lens system, ¼-MOA adjustments and Redfield's exclusive Rapid Target Acquisition® eyepiece. This limited run honors the Redfield Accurange scope mounted on Vietnam era M40 sniper rifles. Rifle shooters building a replica M40 can now mount an appropriate scope for the time.

All Redfield riflescopes are covered by the Redfield "No Excuses™" warranty. For more information and ordering visit this item here: Redfield 3-9x40 USMC M40 Commemorative Rifle Scope or contact SWFA directly at 972-726-7348.

Acquired by Leupold & Stevens, Inc. in 2008, Redfield is now a brand of the Oregon-based company. The Redfield line includes Revolution®, Revenge® and Battlezone™ riflescopes; CounterStrike™ Tactical Red Dot sight; Rebel® roof prism and Renegade® Porro prism binoculars; Rampage® spotting scope kits; and Raider™ rangefinders. The Redfield Gun Sight Company was founded in 1909 by John Hill Redfield. Over the years, Redfield became one of the leading American manufacturers of sports optics, known for the performance, ruggedness and reliability of its products. The new Redfield line upholds that tradition and is sold worldwide to hunters, shooters, wildlife observers and other outdoor enthusiasts

So it's 500$ for a spraypainted green vari-x 2 with a mildot?????

edit: it's a redfield revolution with a green paintjob actually, look at the eye pieces power rings etc. If it were 300 I'd grab it for my m1a but for 500 I'll stick with the super sniper it has, it's a much better scope anyways
