I have been so sick and tired of the same four camo colors of Krylon....Here is the solution 25 Different New Camo Colors!!

I haven't used any yet on my rifle, but the claims are that it works just like Krylon (flat finish, easy to remove). I should have all of the colors in stock by early next week ready for shipping.

I also have some new camo templates coming out, but they are not quite yet available.

Re: Say Goodbye To Krylon....

While the choice on colors is nice, the question is, will they stick to plastics like Krylon does? The new Krylon Camo with Fusion technology sticks to plastics without primer. And is very durable once you apply a flat clear coat on it. I did a set of AICS skins that held up better than anything els I had seen.

Re: Say Goodbye To Krylon....

I am glad to see a company with so many colors of Camo Spray Paint. I would like to see a few rifles painted in it, and hear how it holds up.

I love Krylon, but it's hard to color match Cerakote on a custom rifle with 4 colors of Krylon.

Has anyone had any luck with color matching Cerakote on a custom rifle, and if so, what did you use?

Re: Say Goodbye To Krylon....

Time will tell on this new paint. I plan on putting the pigment to my rifle next week when it gets here (if I have time before I go out of town).

You can achieve a very effective camo job with just the four standard colors of Krylon, but I still like options.

Re: Say Goodbye To Krylon....

You could probably use the Krylon to do your base color/s and then use any of the other methods (foam "blotting", net, etc) to apply the secondary colors using this paint... Assuming you let the Krylon dry completely first.

This does seem to give you more options.

Re: Say Goodbye To Krylon....

The brand is AERVOE and it's pretty good from when I've used it. I have used the Earth yellow and Field drab on one of my 10/22s. Its a mixture of these colors with Krylon's brown and khaki and I can't tell the difference in durability between them after 3 years.

Tactical Concealment sells these and offers it in their larger ghillie kits. That says alot because their owner, Mike, puts alot of thought and research into anything he offers on his site. It's worth trying and gives you alot more color/tone options.

Krylon's selection will get you by in pretty much any AO, but having the larger selection really helps dial-in the look you may be going for.
