Hey guys looking to pick one of these two up. Used or new doesn't matter too much. Any opinions one way or the other?

I would say my two favorite scopes, just in case you wanted to know
. Maybe Kahles and NightForce would be the next two.
Steiner has a nice 1-6x, new for 2018. I like the Steiner a lot more for mid-magnification, like 3-15x. Both do well in the 5-25x. I like S&B more for the Ultra Short 3-20x. If you wanted to wait 6 months and get a 1-8x, I would go with S&B.

As far as pricing, coming out of SHOTSHOW, there are some good deals on S&B across the board. Maybe a little more flexibility on Steiner right now. Euro Optic has two or three S&B scopes that are unique to them, and if you don't mind the configuration (turrets, reticle, finish) they have some deals that nobody can touch.

That is interesting. Because the lowest prices I have seen on S&B are from mile high shooting. I'll dig into the europtic website a bit moreUse both, love both. Sell both.

This is promising as this means that I can just compare prices and nab the first one I like which fits into my budget. I do like the illuminatinon knob on the m5 a bit more but that is getting into being nitpicky
You can get 5-25 PM2s for around 2400 these days. Sometimes even less if you wait for the right sale or coupon.

Schmidt & Bender ! I am particularly fond of their 5-20 Ultrashort which is 4" shorter (almost) than the 5-25, transfers very easily to a gas gun, and you an run it successfully on the Precision long range rig. If you haven't saved up enough yet, reach out to me, there are some really nice new turret designs coming in from Germany in the next couple of months which may be a better choice depending on which scope your actually looking at.
