SBS mil brass

I picked up some once fired .308 mil brass.

The headstamp is SBS 06 with a NATO cross.

I did a search on the I-Net but couldn't find anything.

Anyone know who the manufacture is and is this brass any good?

SBS = Santa Barbara Systems. Made in Spain. Owned by General Dynamics.

I have found it to be good brass.

Yes its good brass, and made for the US mil. Seems we are a tad short on ammo and this foriegn made ammo is contracted for training use, not for use in combat. We just drew 16000 rds and got LC88, CBB08 SBS07 and another I cannot recall. There are supposed to be 5-6 companies making this for us, all owned by GD.

Do a google search for foriegn made ammo or Army ammo shortage. I found the CBB to be the best so far. Its made in Brazil.
