Took the SCAR heavy out for the first range test with a PST 1-4 mounted on it.
Ran some SW Ammo 175's and some cheap ball out of it.
I was really surprised how accurate it was even with the ball. I was able to get 3" groups at 100 yards prone with a bipod. Groups shrank to right around 2" with 175 match ammo.

The recoil is light and the gun is loud as hell.
Had issues with the 2nd round in each magazine not feeding every single magazine. Fed fine after I charged it again. Knocked my knuckles a few times on the recip charging handle. Overall I'm very impressed with the gun. WIll get some pictures up soon of the groups.

Re: SCAR 17 Range Report

Thanks for the report. I was hoping to hear that accuracy was better, especially with match ammo.

I look forward to pics and further updates!

Maybe a different brand of ammo will help, you know some guns can be a little picky.
Besides that it's a battle rifle, so this may be it's limit too. For accuracy we should wait and see what the Mk20 SSR does, if it comes out...
