I was told that S&B is presently working on filling the order for the German military. The FBI have not even received theirs yet as far as I know. Then there's us....

It's not a 3x20. It's a 3-20x50.
It's not out yet, much to my chagrin. I'm still saving for this scope. By the time it comes out, I'll probably have enough money saved up for a Hensoldt.

I move fast, distill to the bare facts, and I abbreviate (3x20). My Dad, who is a very successful civil engineer, must know all details. Since the 3x20 only comes in one flavor as far as I know, I distill.
My Alpha scope rings are still waiting.
It's just like computer "vaporware." Throw out a product for the buzz factor.

You're missing the point. 3x20 indicates a fixed 3x magnification with a 20mm exit objective. I don't think that exists for S&B
3-20 indicates variable magnification range with 3x as the lowest and 20x as the highest, and the scope you're discussing.
