Rifle Scopes Schmidt and Bender PMII Turret Set Screw Size

I have a S&B 5-25 X 56 PMII where the heads of the set screws are slowly starting to become stripped. Does any one know the size and pitch of those set screws so I could order a couple of replacements?

Just call S&B USA and tell them which screws you want to order.

I realize that I could purchase this from S&B; however, I may elect to purchase it from a company that I have an open account with & that is local.... if I only knew the size of the set screws.

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

Call S&B, I'm sure they can tell you the size. While you've got them on the phone, ask them to send you a couple......

S&B part number used to be 561-40. Probably still is.
Size is 4x8mm .75 pitch

You may find that they just send then free of charge. Cost to them nothing but postage, result one very happy customer who tells all his mates. Had this on a couple of high end products.

No problem. I have some here if you need a couple. Let me know. Just make sure you get the correct point on that set screw, you don't want it to dig into your turret assembly.
