Hello , i just got my scope from Amazon and it’s brand new but i cannot seem to lock elevation turret, it just doesnt lock but windage is smooth and locks. I don’t want to force the sucker with any kind of tool since it is expensive as hell. Help !

If things happen to always be off with your scope in the future, try getting a decent higher end set of rings that are not vertically split.

I'm just mentioning it because you look to be a bit new on the forum and over the years there has been a lot of discussion about vertically split rings causing consistency errors. (Other brands, not the one you are using). So I'm just mentioning it in case you run into issues you can't figure out in the future. Hopefully they work perfectly & you are very happy with them.

ARC rings is same in reverse..youd be surprise one clamp screws rings is very sturdy and easier to mount less rotation on tube while tightening..
