I need help in choosing a scope for my Browning BLR 300wsm. I'm setting it up as a all purpose hunting rifle, elk, deer and hog from 25yds to 300yds. My two choices are(but I'm open to suggestions),
S&B zenith 1.5-6x42 luminated or swarovski z6i 1.7-10x42.Thank's in advance for help and input.

Re: schmidt&bender or swarovski

Not too sure about warranty over there, but over here the swarovski after sales is second to none. Also the 6 power mag will make it more versatile.

Re: schmidt&bender or swarovski

S&B will have a 1.1-8 early next year, might be worth looking into. Basically a Short Dot with 2x the range of magnification.

The prototype I saw was pretty nice.

Re: schmidt&bender or swarovski

S&B all the way.

The Zenith 1.5-6x42 is an awesome scope, but if you might hunt at long range (mule deer, elk etc....) a S&B Klassik 3-12x42 may be a more all around scope. I have them both and love them both!!

Re: schmidt&bender or swarovski

You can't go wrong with either one but my money goes to S&B. You can't beat a company that has nearly 60 years under their belt of building nothing but rifle scopes, successfully.

As Buckey stated, the 3-12x42 Klassik is an outstanding all around hunting scope and will be my next purchase for a hunting rifle I'm having built.
