Scope and Mount for Varmint AR15

I am building an AR Varmint rifle and looking for a good quality mount and scope. Would like to spend around $500 or less. Sorry a newbie here so not sure if using proper terminology. Any suggestion and web links welcome.

I went the cheap route on the build I just finished because I wanted to shoot it right away instead of saving up for for better glass then I could afford at the moment. I went with an ADM Recon Mount and a Primary Arms 4-14 FFP. It seems to be doing decent so far (But I don't have much time behind the rifle) and the total package was about $400.

Another bump for the ADM Recon mounts, plus if you plan to stretch her legs past 800yds, get the 20MOA version. As for your budget.. good luck. I tried that at first and have since spent more on glass than I care to admit to. But, in your range I would say a 10x SWFA SS or 10x Bushnell Tactical. Both are great glass for the cost. Good luck and don't forget to show us pics when she is done!

Like the ADM but could also go with a Burris PEPR in your price range as long as your not looking for the 20 MOA.
