What would the drawback be by installing a 30 moa scope mount on shooting prs?

I ran one for 2 seasons on an action that was built to m40 specs. I cant think of any drawbacks.

As long as it doesn't put your zero too close to the edge of your adjustment range (and therefore the lenses in your scope), or prevent you from zeroing at 100.... none.

20 moa is most common, but I know a few guys that prefer 30. 40 moa seems to be where more skepticism appears, depending on available internal elevation in the optic, caliber, etc.. As I understand it 20 moa became the standard at a time when scopes had less available internal elevation. The center of a lens is its most pure optically, so if you are looking through the edge as mentioned in the post above, you may not be seeing the best possible image that optic has to offer.
