New guy here. Joined years ago, but never posted.

I have a new Bergara B-14 HMR in 6.5 Creedmoor Left Hand. (Thanks to Bergara for making a left hand action!) I also have a Vortex Viper PST Gen 2 5-25x50 to go on it. I think I am going to go with the Seekins 20 MOA scope base and Seekins Precision Scope Rings. The design of the base appears to be ambidextrous and I have read on the site that the fit is good on the Bergara receiver. Hopefully this is the case.

I would also like some advice on the height of the rings as I have read different things. The lows are .82 and the mediums are .87.

Thanks for any help as I don't want to get the wrong ones and have to return them.

I have searched high and low and still cant come up with the answers.

On the scope base, I know Badger bases (and others) are right or left hand specific as I have their left hand base on another rifle. I am just assuming the Seekins is ambidextrous based on the design (see picture below). Am I on the right track here?

I think the low rings will work, but I am leaning towards the mediums to have a little more room. There is only .05 difference, so I may be over thinking this.

I also have a message into Seekins to get their assessment.

Thanks.

I have the same setup and am wondering the same questions. From what I understand it comes down to the actual sitting position of your scope and barrel/bolt handle clearance.
May not be any help but you may need to head to a shop to get it sized right
