what is the majority feeling about retapping scope base screw holes to 8x40? seems a good thiing to me as that is a potential weak point in a rifle system. i would think it would have appeal here due to the very heavy scopes favored here and would be a good upgrade with mag calibers,maybe more so than with standard calibers. any input?
