I have had a Weatherby Vanguard 300 Wthby Mag for many years and have done nothing with it. I finally pulled it out of the box threw on a mount and rings and a Harris bipod, but could use some help on the scope choice. I initially have been planning on using a Leaupold 3L-56 somewhere around 4.5-14 or so. However, there are so many choices out there now a days, I would like some feedback on some recomendations. The firearm will be used at the range mostly and hopefully some big game in Utah or maybe Alaska. I live in Komifornia so it won't be hunted that much as it's just hard to get away with a newborn. Any help would be much appreciated!
