Help out my confused friend who is a hunter and target shooter (more the former) but not PRS shooter. Hunts deer, sheep, dangerous stuff like Wolves etc...
He wanted a Minox 5-25X56 for his Blaser rifle with fixed iron sights, but it is 17" long and will not fit without removal of the rear sight which he does not want to do (He does not like empty holes in the top of the barrel attachment???)
Targets to 300 yards
He wants quality up to $2000,,,need not be FFP, but range 5-25X
He can mount up to 15" scope using his Blaser Quick detach mounts..he says he has to use these for travel purposes and switches to different interchangeable barrels..everything from 308-300 Weatherby Magnum
Wants Illumination-- a must
Non crowded reticle ..althought I suggested with time he could get used to anything as long as it was not a Horus
Best glass he can get for this price
