Rifle Scopes Scope for the LMT MWS

Do Not know what to do, when I got my LMT LWS, the only scope avail I had laying around was a USO ST-10 with an EREK in MOA, I mounted it and proceed to use it to see the accuracy capabilities of the gun. At the same time I had on order a NF NXS 3.5-15, I was planning to put on the MWS. The NXS is mated to a Larue LT-104.

Anyways, here is my delema, I sold one of my safe queen so the scope off that gun is also avail... NXS 5.5-22 NP-R2

I've been pondering for the last week wanting to take the ST-10 off the gun, but since it is zeroed in and the zero stop is already set, I do not know if I should... I think it's a perfect match (GG&G raiser with USO Rings)...the problem is it will make the gun a scope rifle only, going with the NXS, I have the detacheable option. I cannot put the LT_104 on the ST-10 because it will block the Erek knob from view...

Both NXS does not have the Zero Stop option.

my type of shooting
I'm bench guy and my range is 600 yards, steel targets... initially my intent was to go with higher mag but the 10X is holding it's own

Any advice is appreciated

IMHO the 5.5-22 is overscoping a 16 inch barreled 308. As you said, the 10x is holding its own. Methinks that the current scope or the 3.5-15 is the better choice for the MWS.

I'd stick with the 10X... never needed more to get me out to 1000.

I agree. I tried a 6-24 and it was a lot of scope on my MWS.

Recommend getting a nf 2.5-10 for your mws. This might be the perfect 308 semi scope. Sell another to fund it.

I've got a nc star 4x that I cleaned with a grinding wheel 60x grit. I'll sell it cheap...sounds like the perfect fit for your little friend!!!
