Finally getting all the components together for my 1st custom build and barreled action to arrive next week. Using a MPA Comp chassis with 6mm Creedmoor Impact barreled action but stuck on proper scope mount height for this set-up. I will be using a Nightforce 7x35 Atacr and hoping someone has similar build that can recommend which height mount to go with. Going back and forth between the Spuhr and MPA mount but experience with the Spuhr has me leaning that way. Figured with the 20moa action rail...most likely go with 0moa mount. Shooting primarily out to 1200 yards. Research shows some are going with the 1.18" height but want to make sure I can use sunshade and scope covers with NV bridge in place. Anybody have a similar build that can share build experience with this?
