Hey guys, I have just ordered a bolt action .308 Lithgow Woomera & am now deciding on a scope. I run Vortex scopes on all my other rifles & want to either stick with Vortex or Nightforce. Im looking at a Vortex Viper PST 5-25x50 FFP EBR-2C. This will be a bench gun & the range I usually use is 500 meters long but I do have access to another that is 1km long. I also dont want to spend to much over $2000 AUD. What do you guys think?

If there are any lightly used gen 1 or gen 2 Razors that would be a good way to go. I don't have any first hand experience with the PST so I can't help there.
The PST is a great scope. I've looked through a couple NF optics, and although they were very clear, they were twice the price and not extraordinarily more clear than the Vortex. For $2000aud you could get a 3-10 or 4-14 NF scope... but I feel a little more comfortable with the larger magnification. Vortex holds it value fairly well, so if you find a decent used scope and hate it, you probably won't lose much re-selling it.
