Rifle Scopes Scope lens covers - are there any good ones?

I just purchased an S&B PM II 5x25. Does anyone make lens covers that aren't complete crap? I find it hard to believe that the best thing to protect my $3600 investment are Butler Creek caps. At least Leupold had the decency to design the Alumina caps. Any recommendations would be welcome. Or maybe you guys are using something else.

Thanks. I will check them out

I believe in keeping things simple, but my BC objective cap just snapped off at about 1800 hrs tonight. I was merely moving my arm over the top of the scope to reach for something and "snap" went my fairly new BC cover...i believe if you're simply a bench shooter or if your gun is just gonna stay in the safe, then you can't go wrong with BC caps, but if you're gonna use the gun, get something that is a bit more durable...

Sometimes we over think things and the best solutions are the simplest ones. I've always used Butler Creek covers and have never had an issue.

I liked the BC caps until I broke one.

The way mine broke really pissed me off because it *should not* have broken, if it were made of a decent material.

The material these are made of gets really brittle down about 30ºF, which is unacceptable for a product such as this.

For $8-10 a pop, there is NO excuse for this.

Nightforce Bikini is a better solution.
