Just ordered a March 3-24 ffp and I'm wanting to get a Spuhr mount. Gun is a Mega Maten 308 AR with a UBR stock.
So which Spuhr mount is best suited for this? Would like to have the option to shoot out to 1000 yards but don't want to sacrifice close up shots. March has 28 mil of elevation adjustment. Could I go with mount with no base elevation or should I get the one with 6 mils? Which will be easier to get behind? Cantilever mount, rings, or ISMS picatinny mount? Does it even matter and why?
