Rifle Scopes scope mounting help...please

Have 20 moa base on .308, will a nightforce 20 moa unimount work, or do i need to remove the base? or just go with rings?

40 MOA is a lot of additional MOA if its not needed. If you paln to shoot 1000+ yards it might be warranted depending on your scope. If using a scope with a good amount of internal MOA and 1000 yard and under shooting, you probably do not need the 40 external MOA. Once again, depending on your scope and your distance and how much varying yardage you will have.
