I just got a Nightforce BEAST for my new AX 308 with a 20 MOA base and there is a small difference in the measurement of the scope centerline and the bore centerline depending on where you measure it. I know it is not enough to make any appreciable difference in the drop tables, and this is splitting hairs. I just can be over-annalitical and was just curious as to where the measurement should be taken. At the turret housing, the obj lens, continue the line out to the muzzle?

Don't know if I've done it right, but I've just measured from the center of my rings, usually the front ring on a 20 moa base and it's been close enough. If you want, I see no reason you couldn't measure both rings and split the difference since the rings are sitting on a 20 moa base.
If you are talking about vertical offset, my understanding is you measure it at the erector (turret).
