Rifle Scopes Scope Recommendation for 50BMG

I am looking the best scope for a McMillan 50bmg shooting FCSA 1000 yd matches.Most guys seem to be using Nightforce or Leupold.I am currently looking at S&B NF USO Leupold March Sightron and Swarovski.The local range is only 100 yds so it needs to work there also.

I use a NF NXS 12-42x56 with NPR-2 reticle. I've had no issues at 100yds. Other than getting back on target after a shot, haha. I do with it was an NPR-1 reticle, though. Ooooh or the new MOAR....

And I thought CA outlawed the 50 also....

California law restricts possession of .50 BMG rifles and requires that anyone who lawfully possessed one prior to January 1, 2005 register it by April 30, 2006.
I registered 3 50bmg's before the ban.

I have heard the 12-42 X 56 have problems with running out of windage adjustment when it's real windy,don't know if it's true.When I called Nightforce this the one they recommended.

I use a S&B 5-25x56, but I don't shoot F Class. The scope is great and you certainly won't break it. However, are you looking for something that is SFP?

I don't think it will matter if it's FFP or SFP as 90% will be at 1000 yds.I have the same scope on a Barrett 82A1,great scope.
