I am going to have some work done for a varmint rifle and have the action trued up when it gets rebarreled for a 223. I want to have the holes on the receiver done in 8/40 and mount a pic rail. But i am not sure if i should put a rail on because i will be using the factory setup and feeding my rounds in from the top. Will i have problems trying to feed ammo in through the top using the rail. What would be the best setup if the rail is not a good option. Any info would be a great help. Thanks....DAN
