Hey guys,

need some input please. Just a quick note, I shoot mostly precision .22 (Vudoo's, Stiller benchrest ect...) I am new to the longer range shooting and I picked up a CZ .308 and plan to shoot 700 yards and in. I have a leupold Mark 5HD 5x25x56. My questions is about scope rings/mounts. I generally use precision scope rings on my .22LR stuff but not sure what is the way to go here. Regular rings, precision rings, sphur type mount. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

any set of rings from the known high quality manufacturers will work...

seekins
APA
ARC
vortex
sphur
ken Farrell
Leupold
Nightforce
Talley
badger

the list goes on

pick one and run it

If you keep the same mind set with center fire rings as your rimfire your gonna be fine. Sphur are always a hit, along with ARC M-10, NF, vortex, MDT. Don’t hesitate to look at the Hawkins one piece, very nice and solid!

Seekins has been my got to for 7+ years now. I’ve got some ARC 34mm rings coming right now just cause I’ve wanted to give them a run, but I’ve been very happy with the 20+ sets of Seekins I’ve ran.

I’ve been running seekins the last few years and have no complaints, they are solid and not terrible price. I just picked up some Hawkins precision rings for a new build and they might become my new go to rings from this point forward.
