Rifle Scopes Scope tracks 1" low in tall test. How to correct in drop calculation?

.3 mils low. At 100 yds that is 1.08" correct? I thought that would correct, but after reading scope threads here it seems some apps have a way to add this into the calculations. Probably just easier to remember to take .3mils off every time.
Many Thanks

How many mils did you dial when you were 0.3 off?

Just for the sake of argument, say you dialed 1 mil and measured that you actually moved the reticle 1.3 mils, that would mean the scope tracks 30% farther than the turret indicates.

Based on the info I read from lowlight, I did a full rotation to equal 36". When I made a full rotation it went down to 37". Prior to the tracking I took the scope off and re-leveled everything. I have not previously shot far enough for this to matter, but last match went to 1288 yds so I figured I should check.
To answer your question, I dialed 10 mils.

Just use a 1.028 correction factor in your ballistic calculator. All your output data will be taking your error into account. Let’s say you shoot to a distance that requires 18 mils. Your output from the calculator will now be 18.5 mils based on the correction factor you found your scope needs.
