I have a 6-24x40 Bushnell Banner. The magnification dial doesn't do anything. You can turn it either way, but it does not adjust. Also, the dial is loose or something. You can push it up and down the scope about almost 1/8". I know there's a little screw by the dial but to be honest I'm not really sure what it does. Please help!

Actually I just found where that screw pins in. Just came loose I guess. Took a while to find exactly where inside the dial it went into. All fixed.

6-24x, target turrets, mil dot reticle, pretty clear. Damn good scope for $200. JMO. Had my Elite on it in the mean time.

$10 and postage and bushnell will make it just like new. dont let anyone give you shit about your equipment unless they are gonna pay for new stuff for you.

The little screw is the drive pin for the magnification ring and erector. Put a little blue loctite on it and screw it back in and you should be GTG.
I saw you already figured that out, but the loctite will help it from coming loose in the future.
