Rifle Scopes scope won't zero...

ok, so gun is just a trainer...savage mk2, tr stock, stock bases, weaver grand slam high rings, APT

i went to zero today and can NOT get it there. i turned the windage completely to the right...and i STILL have to hold 3 mils to get it on target. It looks as if the scope is visibly canted, but I'm not sure why it is...

any ideas? scope bases not drilled true?

Get a two piece base set with one that has windage adjustment on it. Center your windage on the scope and ruff it in with the adjustable base then zero with the scope windage.

Try the Millet windage adjustable rings. That should help solve your problem.
