MATCH RULES AND FORMAT
1. WHO CAN SHOOT/CALIBERS:
The match is open to most center fire rifles/cartridges with or without muzzle brake. No caliber greater than 300 win mag, muzzle velocity no greater than 3,000 fps. No armor piercing ammo is allowed.
2. COMPETITORS SHOOT FOR SCORE:
<span style="color: #FF0000">The match is shot in TWO CLASSES, Bolt action rifle or AR Semi-auto rifle.

3. FRONT & REAR RESTS ALLOWED:
When Shooting Prone Or Other Positions:
Use of a bipod is required. Any form of rear bag may be used, [except that the front and rear support cannot be attached or connected to each other in any way & no “benchrest” style equipment is allowed];
4. COURSE OF FIRE:
The description that follows is our typical match format. You can expect that from time to time we will vary the match targets and positions to include shooting from positions off the ground other than prone, such as seated, kneeling, standing or unconventional positions either supported or affected by barricades or obstacles. Such modifications will typically be mentioned in the email reminder to sign up for a match shoot start time.
-On the command all shooters simultaneously will move to the ground prone at their rifle and for each distance from 100 yards to 440 yards you will have a total of two minutes to prepare and shoot prone 5 shots at the designated target or targets at each distance.

-The targets at 100, 200, 300, 385 and 440 yards will be as follows and each hit is worth 10 points;
*1.5" dot at 100 yards
*2" dot at 200 yards
*3" shoot n see at 300 yards
*5" hanging plate at 385 yards
*6" hanging plate at 440 yards

-After we have completed the runs at 100, 200, 300, 385 and 440 yards, shooters will individually, on the command, engage steel plates at the 500 yard berm as a KYL stage, 10", 6", 5" & 4", point values in order of engagement from left to right are...10, 20, 25, 30, if you miss and/or engage out of order you are done and lose all points for the stage.
-Optional barricade stage to be announced at the match.
5. <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="text-decoration: underline">No sighter shots are allowed during the match as all shots count for score. No spotting scopes are allowed, you must use your rifle scope o</span>nly</span>.
6. SCHEDULING OF COMPETITOR SHOOT TIMES: Competitors will shoot the match at fixed INTERVALS STARTING AT 9AM.
-Shooters "shoot times" will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis [the sooner I get your email at [email protected], or PM here, the earlier you get to shoot on match]
7. COMPETITOR ARRIVAL & ARRIVAL TIME:
All shooters are required to arrive no less than 20 minutes prior to their appointed "match shoot time". Upon arrival, each shooter must notify the match director, pay the match fee and sign a waiver if not a SCSSA member in good standing.
8. $15.00 MATCH FEE IS DUE TO THE MATCH DIRECTOR PRIOR TO SHOOTING THE MATCH:
