I guess I am not as much of a dog lover as I thought I was.

A Colorado man fatally shot his neighbor five times in the back of the head because the man had swatted his own dog, the victim’s fiancee says. Police in the Denver suburb of Thornton have arrested Michael Kourosh Sadeghi, 32, for investigation of first-degree murder in connection with the death of his 42-year-old neighbor, Dustin Schmidt. The victim has not been identified by the Adams County coroner, but Schmidt’s fiancee, Vicki Branaghan, 42, said her partner was killed while standing in their backyard Tuesday night. She said the shooting was precipitated by Schmidt’s disciplinary swat of his own dog, who had just jumped the fence while leashed and almost hanged himself.

Interesting surname this shooter has, I had to look up where its origin is. Not surprised, Iranian/Persian... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sadeghi

Whoa... Guys... I just cracked the case! I'm thinking it went something like this...

    Guy needed love.
Found it in neighbors pup, but such a love was forbidden. He longed for his sweet dog love!
Dog hops fence to be with his love, gets pulled back to other side, ending lovers eloping chance. Dog is disciplined.
Guy sees his bitch gettin smacked around, doesnt like it, wants vengeance.
    Cowardly act of violence ensues.
Dumbass forgot he should have gone out romeo and Juliet style by just killing himself instead of an innocent party.
