Sounds pretty cool. I do some covert stuff in my back yard when the moon is bright, you know roll to pistol draw and stuff. Do they run live ammo on training?

Either an "OPFOR" force will be there as well to monitor the passes most likely for them to cross( double the training), or they have hired locals who know the area to keep a lookout. My money is on the former based on conventional force training. Not sure how the SEALs approach that.
Partisan link up would be linking up with a declared Partisan force for either escape or to coordinate attacks in the area against war lords and unfriendly guerrillas.

Hey, we all know if you want to find SEALs, just look for the closest weight room. Two things they never miss: a meal, and a trip to the gym. I'd stick my OPFOR at all the gyms in the surrounding area!

I feel its an honor to be able to help in such a capacity and its a shame that no one around me really gives a shit. I thought it would be cool to share with folks who might care what I am going to be doing. Apparently I haven't used the best judgement and for that I am sorry. I didn't think it would be a big deal, and still might not be, but I have deleted my post incase it is.

If you have not been asked or requested to sign a non-disclosure statement, I'd say it's all fine and dandy but some people cry OPSEC about shit that's public knowledge so eh. I mean... they did go around and tell the residents what was going to be going on. It's not like black choppers are flying around and your tinfoil hat picked up a radio transmission.

Because you can either be present or accounted for ie you are not there and possibly on detail but you are accounted for and not AWOL.

And I thought I was going to find a really good joke about the guys who weren't good enough to "make it" into the legendary Seal Team 6.
There's gotta be one out there, since so many posers have claimed to be former ST6 "operators". But since there apparently really are Teams 1-5, anyone repeating such a joke would be in...serious jeopardy!
I came in after all the edits, and must say that I appreciate the level of caution, even if somewhat after the fact. Thanks to all for their present and past service, and to any Citizens who are helping them out. ALL of that counts for something.
