Search when too common of characters?

I know this happens on tons of forums but when you try to do a search for something specific that only has a couple characters you cannot because its so commom. Is there any way to just allow it? I know it can impact cause the terms can be broad and take forever and return a bunch of results but when I'm searching for something like HS precision and the search can only search precision the results I want vs. what I get are not the same.

Or is there some trick to achieve what I want? Had this same issue happen with other searches too when its something specific that just has a short spelling.
