I was curious to know if anyone has separate loads for really hot days(90F +) and cold days(40F -).

I ran into an issue yesterday. My original load was clocking around 2780fps and had an ES of 15(load was developed in the winter time). I shot yesterday in 95F heat and the velocity jumped up to 2830fps range and my ES was 42fps. It still shot well, but I had about 6-8 inches of vertical spread at 950yds.

*Load is 6.5creed (Alpha brass, CCI200's, H4350, and Berger 140hybrids). All same lot from before.

Even though H4350 is supposed to be temp stable I've had the same issue before doing the load in winter and problems in summer thing. Though for me they were hot-ish loads. Also I've had older 8lb jugs that must have been a slightly slower burn rate compared to new jugs I just opened which required a new load worked up.

Well I typically back the load off .1-.2 tenths for summer anyway now and stay with a warm load vs hot, even with the extreme powders.

I do for one gun. I made that mistake and have learned from it. I have 2 loads for my 6.5 SAUM... now I down work ups as much as I can in the heat. If I can't go out on hot days to find my true max I use Quickload , after its tried, and go from there

My load is similar to yours though. Berger 140 hybrids, Lapua brass, CCI BR4's, and 42.5 grains of H4350.

Velocity is ~2830 fps with and ES of 15-20, in the AZ summer (100+ degrees).
