seating depth

ok here it is i have 175gr SMK i have separated them by Ogive length with in a 1/2 a thousands.

once i did that i loaded 40 rounds seated the first round to 2.865 and than measured the ogive seating depth of 2.071 and all of them seated with in a thousands of an inch so i seated all the bullets and the OAL are all over the place 2.865 - 2.854-2.875
should i be more concerned about the OAL or Ogive seated length.

If your not restricted by a magazine length, who cares what the OAL is so long as they are seated Base to Ogive the same.

yes all the Ogive are the same.
will the make the accuracy better or worse with the OAL all different.
isn't the Ogive the first thing that hits the lands thus all of them will hit at the same time?

Yes all you need to worry about is the Base to Ogive length, the different lengths you have won't make a bit of difference accuracy wise.....only matters if they don't fit in your magazine.
