Seating depth

If you seat a bullet deaper into a case will it decrease the velocity? I'm not taking a lot.
Normal .308 oal is 2.810 so lets say seated to an oal of 2.800.

Should increase the pressure so it may increase the velocity

Theoretically the pressure will increase.

If its utmost accuracy your after, velocity isnt always the deffinative factor... what groups best consistantly is

Agree, mostly. Once you go the opposite way as in against the lands pressure may increase again. The bullet dose'nt "get a run at it" before engaging the lands, theoretically.
