I have been searching for 300 win mag dies and have not had much luck. I am still relatively new to reloading and this may be a dumb question, but I currently have hornady match 6.5 creed dies. Could I just swap to a 30 cal seating stem for seating the 300 win mag bullets? Could I also maybe use 300 wsm, 30-06, or other 30 cal round seating dies and stems?

No, because the Hornady seating dies are caliber-specific. You could use it with other 6.5mm cartridges. You'll need to get one of the 30-cal seaters, and could use that one for all the other 30s (anyone correct me if I'm wrong).

I can find some other 30 cal seating dies. I would think they could work for 300 win mag, but my concern is that neck angles may not be the same

The regular reloading suppliers are out of the dies and are likely out of parts you would need to convert any other dies. You need to buy the proper dies for your caliber.

I took a look on e Bay and found a few sets of 300 Win. Mag dies. There were a couple at very reasonable prices.

You can change the seating stem, and the slider in your hornady die and use your 6.5 Creedmore seater to seat 300WM.

Hornady seating dies don't have any neck angle in them. They are just tube. 30 cal works for most all 30 cal. I have been using my 6.5 Creedmore seater for 6.5 Grendel. Too bad I don't have such handy solution for a sizing die. :ROFLMAO:

My 300wm seating die is about 1/4" longer than the 6.5 Creedmore.

Was able to find a seating die from another member here, so I didn't have to get too creative. I was able to find like 300 rcm seating dies for about $30 that I almost purchased just to try. Might be a good option for other people that can't find dies.
