Seating Die? for Bergers VLD

Which die do you recommend for these VLD's and other Long-assed front end bullets?

I am getting a lot of run out using a standard RCBS Seater.

Specifically 7mm.

Some die mfg's have a replacement seating stem for the VLD type bullets you can get. Sometimes the tip of the bullet will touch the bottom inside of the stem and cause problems. Also, measure your neck thickness all the way around the neck to make sure your run-out is not coming from that. I use the Redding comp seaters for all my match ammo, and they work great.

I would recommend getting some competition seating dies to use for all your reloading, IMO they are easier to use, and you'll get more consistency out of them.

Thanks guys,
The comp forester was in mind and I will now get one inbound..... gotta call em and make sure the thing is GTG for vld's with out mods like I am sure the RCBS needs.

I use redding comp dies on 7mm/300wsm,300wm,and .308 with VLD'S without any problems.

Redding Comp.
Sinclair carries the VLD replacement stem. With the standard stem the projectile tip will bottom out in the stem. I now use the VLD stem for all seating regardless.
