seating die question

Bear with me because I'm new to loading. If a person buys a bushing die set the seating die is the same as a standard set, right?

depends on the set. But it should say if it is a regular seater or a micrometer seater.

what die set are you referring to ? a seating die seats the bullet to the desired depth differences would be how the depth is adjusted...standard die is a screw type adjustment and a micro top adjusts the depth by turning the top...there are a few other differences but they both do the same thing in the end just one is easier to use/adjust.

Redding type S bushing die set
Any day I should be getting my 7-08AI back and I have 200 pieces of brass to load and form. Wanted to see if there will be any problems seating with the die that comes in this set. I'm pretty sure only the sizing die is obviously different than standard 708, am I right?

call redding on that one, because the improved cases have different part numbers from the standards on the competition seating dies

im pretty sure the AI die is going to be different but like mijp5 said id call redding and ask them...nice guys and they will answer any questions you have.
