Second guessing a part

Building a 6.5 Creedmoor upper for an AR-10, plan on adding a suppressor later. Should I build with a regular gas block or adjustable?

Adjustable.

That's what I've been thinking since my parts came.

I think it depends upon the length of the barrel and the gas system. I suppose you could never go wrong with adjustable, but the longer the barrel and the gas system, the less variability you will have in back pressures suppressed and not. Also, there are so many good choices in suppressors in the last year or two that mitigate back pressure quite a bit, that it is less necessary. We have had great experience with Rifle Speed adjustable gas blocks, FWIW.

I’m no expert but I don’t see a reason to ever NOT use an adjustable gas block.
