I took the advise, encouragment and tips given here last week on how to improve prone position and be more relaxed and comfortable. I put them to use in a 2 hour range session this morning.

I can't remember each person's comments, but it will suffice to say I tried, as best I could to glean what I could from each person's comments last week.

1. Get a mat - I did that and got off the dirt!

2. Watched suggested video on "getting behind the rifle", not "little geen army man position". BTW I loved that comment- I DID THAT!

3. adjusted butt stock pad for "better eye alignment"- I did that

4. Did not move scope, just took less than full scope view, as I was back off a little to far, but alignment was so much better.

5. Found when I did these few things, I was much more comfortable shooting in the prone position with little neck fatigue. Much more relaxed and no Ibuprophen required this morning when I was done.
