I was watching this today and they went back and covered the Munich Olympic tragedy.
I can't say I agree with all they said happened. I will say it was sad to hear that it was actually policemen recruited from off the street and not a well trained unit.
Guess that's why the Germans formed GSG-9
Anybody else have a different account of how woefully pathetic that rescue operation failed?
