Rifle Scopes seekins ring height

Just seeing if anyone is running a nf scope with a 56mm obj on a rifle with a #7 contour barrel. What I am looking for is a ring height.

Depends on your action and rail height. You can most likely get away with Seekins .87 medium rings

Get the .97" height. I use 1" height with my 34mm tubed 56mm objectives and the M24/40 contour which is a very similar contour.

I'm running the .97 on my sightron 56mm (65mm OD) OBJ. MTU contour. 2.55mm from bell to barrel. If I had went with the .92, I would only have 1.275mm from B to B. The .87 would set me on my barrel.

I forgot to mention. Remington 700, 20 moa leupold base. I'm hoping to get as close as possible without touching. Thanks for the info so far, keep it coming.
